The Whitman Studies Association supports the creation and recognition of scholarship on the life, work, and reception of Walt Whitman, aiming to foster a community of scholars, readers, and teachers of the poet.

The Whitman Studies Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in Texas.
